Coffee & Kitchen

Maison Fleuret is a "literary coffee shop" nestled within an old bookstore in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Originally dating back to 1872, the place was reopened with the intention of creating a refined and epicurean space for taste, sight, and the mind. We have reinvested in it, preserving its charm and original purpose after 150 years of history!

Upon reopening, our aim was to both carry forward the beauty and timeless, universal values of an old bookstore - a temple of knowledge, dialogue, and contemplation - preserving its essence, while also offering a haven for lovers of existence. A place conducive to unwinding the body and soul, a timeless yet connected bubble, where one can savor the moment, inhale existence, and recapture lost time...

The on-site and takeaway offerings we provide are varied, sourced responsibly in a thoughtful approach, and entirely prepared on-site. Inspired by multiple sources, leaning towards a veggie and healthy orientation, the menu changes with the seasons, with refinement, excellence, and surprises as guiding principles!

The writer Marcel Proust, who might have perused these shelves in his time, fittingly said, "Dishes are read, and books are eaten." We gladly follow his teachings in this space where dishes become novels, and books are highly edible!
