Born in the kitchens of great chefs like Antoine Beauvilliers, the sweet soufflé quickly became a masterpiece of lightness and technical skill. It perfectly embodies the elegance of French pastry, a delicate balance of science and art that has inspired wonder for generations.

Today, though often revisited or simplified, the soufflé remains a majestic dessert that people rarely dare to make at home, perhaps due to its reputation as a challenging dish.

This course has been designed precisely to make the soufflé recipe accessible and easy! We invite you to uncover the secrets of an authentic sweet soufflé, from meticulous preparation to perfect baking, so you can enjoy it in all its true, incomparable lightness.

The Soufflé Class take place at the studio located in Notre-Dame district, 3, rue des 3-Portes 75005 Paris.

What's included

Food

All the raw materials are provided. Once the baking workshop is finished, you leave with your creations. We also provide transport packaging.

Drinks

Throughout the duration of the baking workshop, you have access to tea, coffee, and water.

Recipe

The recipe of the baking workshop is provided in digital format, and will soon be available in print format!

About us

Our concept began in 2017 with The Pastry and Bakery Classes by Maison Fleuret, imparting the secrets of indispensable French culinary craftsmanship, now universally recognized. We now have three workshops in Paris: in the Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Notre-Dame de Paris district. Each day, our team of pastry chefs passes on these skills to people from around the world.

Since 2022, we've also opened a literary Coffee & Kitchen on Rue des Saints-Pères, Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, in a former bookstore, preserving its spirit and ambiance, offering dine-in and take-out options, savory and sweet, blending past and present, here and elsewhere, mindful of our Earth and exploring the flavors of tomorrow.

In 2024, The Culinary Journeys by Maison Fleuret invite you to embark on a unique exploration of French gastronomy. These experiences blend the artistry of cuisine with cultural discovery, offering an immersive journey through iconic neighborhoods rich in history and flavor. With the guidance of passionate experts, you’ll uncover the secrets of our terroirs, the legacy of celebrated culinary figures, and the shared passion that defines French cuisine. Designed to inspire, these tours promise an enriching adventure filled with taste, tradition, and unforgettable moments.

The verb "fleurer" brings to mind the action of a pastry chef dusting flour onto there table before working the dough... This gesture, both elegant and promising, aptly illustrates our desire to highlight the work and beauties of the human hand, its ability to cultivate, transform, create, sublimate, and pass on traditions, guided by a curious, inventive, and sharp spirit akin to the "fleuret" (the foil in French) of a fencer...
